Dear Friends,
The health, safety and well-being of Oak Park, River Forest and our neighboring communities is our highest priority.
Like you, we continue to monitor information related to the community spread of COVID-19. We will keep a close eye on official information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
We are also following the preventive measures as recommended by the CDC, and taking the following actions to curb the outbreak of COVID-19 in our communities:

  • Foundation staff will stay home if they show any flu-like symptoms such as a mild cough or low grade fever
  • Foundation staff will not engage in nonessential travel
  • At our discretion, we will avoid hosting or attending group meetings
  • We will promote teleworking when necessary

We do not anticipate any disruptions to our daily philanthropic operations and remain steadfast in being of service to our donors and nonprofit community.
Please feel free to call the Foundation if you have any questions about Foundation-related operations or events at (708) 848-1560.
On behalf of the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation, thank you for all you do to keep our villages healthy, safe and vibrant.
Best regards,
Antonio Martinez, Jr.
President and CEO

RRRF Fund Hdr

Our dedication to engaging people and mobilizing resources to secure our community remains steadfast. In response to the COVID-19 global health emergency, the Foundation’s leaders and Board of Directors have established the Rapid Response and Recovery Fund. This fund will infuse desperately needed dollars to those agencies that are on the front lines providing daily, ongoing support to our most affected community members, including the elderly, the economically at-risk, and those with health concerns.
